Why rice water in the hair?
Rice water has been used for centuries in Asia, especially in countries such as China and Japan, as a tool to leave hair strands more hydrated and also to stimulate the growth of highlights. There, it is also common for the liquid to be used for skin care. Being rich in amino acids, vitamin E and antioxidants such as feluric acid and orizanol, in addition to the benefits that we cite -so beloved by the Orientals- the rice water in the hair still strengthens the hair, reduces the incidence of frizz and, of course, has strong action against hair loss!
How does hydration with rice water combat hair loss?
As we said before, rice water is able to repair damaged wires and also to strengthen them. In this way, it prevents them from falling in larger quantities. Another positive point is that in addition to preventing hair loss, because it leaves the hair healthy, it also stimulates the growth of new hair, helping your scalp to replace hair that has been lost.

Hydration with fermented rice water
Step 1: wash a cup of tea of raw rice under running water.
Step 2: place the washed rice in a lidded container and add two glasses of water at room temperature.
Step 3Close the lid of the container and wait about 24 hours for the rice water to ferment.
Step 4: sieve this water and dispose of the rice as you see fit.
Step 5In case the smell of fermentation bothers you, you can add a few drops of lavender essential oil to disguise it. Reserve.
Step 6: wash your hair with your favourite shampoo and after rinsing with ordinary water, throw the rice water over your scalp.
Step 7: massage the region in gentle circular movements with your fingertips, but without using your nails.
Step 8: wait 20 minutes for the rice water to take effect in your hair and rinse with warm water.
Step 9Apply your hydration mask preferably, wait for the time indicated on the packaging and rinse again.
Step 10In the sequence, finish with conditioner and do one last rinse.
Hydration with boiled rice water
Step 1: in a glass container add a cup of tea of raw rice and cover it with twice the volume of previously boiled filtered water.
Step 2Mix with a spoon and wait about 8 hours.
Step 3After that time, put the rice with the water in a pan and boil for 15 minutes.
Step 4Strain the water and reserve it so that it can cool down, but you can use the rice for whatever you want later.
Step 5: transfer the already cold water to a sprayer and take it to the bathroom.
Step 6: wash the strands with your usual shampoo and rinse.
Step 7: then just spray the rice water all over your hair and massage your scalp for a few minutes, as we taught before.
Step 8Finally rinse with cold water.
Hydration with rice water and cornstarch
Step 1: place four tablespoons of raw rice in a container, cover with water and wait 30 minutes.
Step 2Strain the water and put it in a pot with some spoons of cornstarch. The rice you can use for something else.
Step 3: turn on the fire and stir until it forms a porridge.
Step 4When ready, place in another container and let it cool down.
Step 5: after that, add two tablespoons of your favorite moisturizing mask and stir well.
Step 6Apply to hair lengths and ends, lock by lock, after washing with shampoo.
Step 7wait 30 minutes, rinse and finish with conditioner and water.
